TEIFI Boating Club were crowned division one champions, but itwent to a photo as Gobaith and Lamb A staged grandstand finishes.

An expected easy win for the champions-elect against relegatedRed Lion did not materialise and the club cueists were forced to digdeep before springing a 6-4 victory.

Gobaith notched a 9-1 win against Schooners B while Lamb Awhitewashed Schooners B. After relieving Hope & Anchor of the title,Boating Club skipper Eryl Lewis said: "The lads played wellthroughout the season and I think we got what we deserved."
